Privacy Notice
Last updated: 16 October 2026
D.A Culinary Enterprise operates the D.A Culinary Client Space, D.A Culinary Catalogue, Cathy’s Kitchen, Sweet Spot and SugarTreats. This notice explains how we use information when you browse, create an account, contact us, plan an event, request a quote or subscription, or place an order.
Who is responsible
D.A Culinary Enterprise, Nii Klu Street, Spintex, Ghana, is responsible for the customer information described here. For privacy questions or requests, email info@daculinary.com.
Information we collect
Depending on the service you use, this may include your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, delivery or pickup details, order and payment records, messages, uploaded documents, event plans, subscriptions, preferences, benefit requests and any dietary or allergy information you choose to provide. We also use limited technical information, such as session cookies and security logs, to operate and protect the sites and accounts. You can browse public menus without creating a Client Space account; some services need contact or order details so that we can respond or fulfil your request.
Why we use it
We use information to create and secure accounts; review client registrations; answer enquiries; prepare quotes, menus and plans; fulfil orders, bookings and subscriptions; arrange delivery or pickup; record payments; and send account verification, password reset, order and other service updates. We may retain records needed to resolve complaints, maintain accurate business records and meet legal obligations. We do not currently send promotional marketing by email or direct message. Offers and announcements may appear inside the Client Space. If we introduce direct marketing later, we will update this notice and provide the appropriate choice before using contact details for that purpose.
Who can access or receive it
Only authorised D.A Culinary team members may access customer information for their assigned work. Providers that host the sites, store data or files, deliver account emails or device notifications, or help operate the service may process limited information on our behalf. Some services and infrastructure may operate outside Ghana.
If you choose a delivery service, we may give the agreed courier or rider the name, telephone number, delivery address and instructions needed to complete that delivery. If you send your own pickup representative, we may use the details you supply to verify the handover. We may also disclose information where legally required. We do not sell customer information.
External services and device features
Some pages load fonts, mapping resources or other technical content from external providers. If you open an external map, social-media, WhatsApp or courier service, that provider may receive information under its own privacy terms. Optional device notifications require your browser or device permission, which you can withdraw in your device settings. Essential session cookies keep you signed in and help protect your account.
How long we keep information
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain relevant order and financial records, resolve issues and meet applicable obligations. Closing or suspending an account does not automatically erase completed orders, payments, messages or other records that still need to be kept for those purposes. We are finalising separate account-closure and deletion procedures; we will publish specific retention periods when those procedures have been established. Information no longer needed will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with those procedures.
Security and your choices
We use access controls and other reasonable measures to protect customer information. You may ask what information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, raise a concern, or ask whether information can be deleted. Some records may need to be retained even after an account is closed. Contact info@daculinary.com and we will review your request. You may also contact Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our services or data practices change. We will post the revised version here with a new update date. If a change materially affects how we use customer information, we will give an additional notice where appropriate.
